Welcome
Hi, I’m Carrie
Hagglund
Rancher & Daughter of the Republic of Texas — I love God, my family, my animals, and the Lone Star State. The rest falls into place.

About
A little about me
Faith and family are everything to me. I’m a proud Texan through and through — born and raised with a deep love for this land, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My Texas roots run deep. I’m a member of Texas First Families and a descendant of the Old 300 — Stephen F. Austin’s original colonists. My ancestor Thomas J. Rusk signed the Texas Declaration of Independence and served as the first Secretary of War of the Republic of Texas. Texas isn’t just where I live — it’s in my blood.
I’ve been around horses my whole life, and that love for horses and ranch life has never left me. There’s nothing quite like the connection between a horse and rider.
My husband and I co-own Rogue Land & Cattle, a Texas ranch where we raise premium Wagyu beef. Ranch life keeps us grounded — early mornings, wide open skies, and honest work. I love every bit of it.
When I’m not on the ranch, I love to travel — whether that’s discovering a new corner of Texas, exploring another state, or hopping on a plane to somewhere new entirely. Life’s too short to stay in one place.
